Expanding its role as the official stereo system supplier for Outerlimits Powerboats, Waves and Wheels of Osage Beach, Mo., also will be handling all of the Bristol, R.I., custom high-performance boat builder’s interior work. That’s the word from Outerlimits production manager Dan Kleitz.

“We decided to partner with Waves and Wheels because we’ve seen and heard about nothing but top-quality work and delivery times from Justin Wagner (the owner of Waves and Wheels) and his team,” said Kleitz. “We do a lot of business with them on the stereo side, and we decided that we might as well continue that great work on the interior side.”

Flanked by Outerlimits’ Paul Fiore and Dan Kleitz, Justin Wagner described his new arrangement with the boat company as “a major privilege.”

The first Waves And Wheels interior fabrication job for a new Outerlimits will begin with another “first” from the boat company, an upcoming outboard engine-powered SL 41 V-bottom sportboat. Next up for Waves and Wheels will be handling the interior for the company’s second 44-foot center console. (The yet-to-be unveiled first Outerlimits center console had its interior installed to customer specifications in house at Outerlimits and is still at the Bristol facility.)

“It’s a major privilege to be recognized by them,” said Wagner. “I have always been a fan of Outerlimits—I feel they have always been ahead of their time. I’ve been in the marine industry for 16 years, and 16 years ago I would not have thought this would be happening. We’re damn good at what we do, but this really is a blessing.

“It’s important for us to come up with unique designs that meet the needs and fit the style of every client we have,” he continued. “It seems like a lot of (interior) shops repeat the same things. One thing we really take pride is in creating unique projects for each client.”
