The new SV 29 OB from Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats is one step closer to completion after the team at Waves and Wheels in Osage Beach, Mo., recently wrapped up its portion of the job and shipped the new custom seats to the Bristol, R.I., company for its first outboard-powered 29-foot sportboat.

“The seats for the new SV 29 came out great,” said Waves and Wheels owner Justin Wagner, who always enjoys working on new projects with Dan Kleitz and the team at Outerlimits. “Outerlimits pretty much let us do our own thing with the seat design. The three rear seats have the same look—with our new reshaped headrests—as the front two bucket seats. Altogether they look really cool.
“I think they’re going to be a nice complement to the paintjob that was designed by Outerlimits’ go-to paintshop, Stephen Miles Design, and applied in-house,” he added. “The colors turned out nice, too, and the material we utilized is pretty cool. It’s called Sileather and it’s a marine silicone-coated fabric that is tough and durable. For the black, we used a product called chill, which stays just as cool as the white part.”
Kleitz, Outerlimits’ sales manager, expects the boat, which is powered by twin Mercury Racing 300R outboard engines, to be done in the next few weeks.
