As the main man behind the Rocky Top Power Run on Lake Norris in Tennessee and the owner of Rogers Brothers Detailing—a local boat and car detail business—Matt Rogers knows this better than most folks. And he wants your boat to looks its best for his event next year, which is set for August 6-8. That’s why he’s donating a five-year marine ceramic coating treatment to be handled ahead of the 2026 affair as an auction item for the 12th annual Speed On The Water Key Bash Charity Auction benefiting Samuel’s House and Keys ACEH Health Centers this years. The event is set for Thursday, November 6, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Pickle’s Pub Sandbar restaurant on Greene Street. Interior Protection is included, with all of the painted, or gelcoat surfaces receiving ceramic coating application including but not limited to power tower, speakers, and storage areas for uniform durability and easy maintenance. That, too, is part of the auction-item package. The Speed On The Water Key West Bash is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year. Proceeds from the auction and other fundraising efforts than evening will be split evenly between the Key West-based Samuel’s House shelter for women and children and Keys AHEC Health Centers, “which provides access to no cost medical and low cost dental care for the school age children of Monroe County (Fla.), no matter their financial circumstances.” Both Samuel’s House and AHEC Health Centers are 501(c)(3) charities. Winning bidders will be required to pay immediately after the bidding on each auction item closes. No exceptions will be made.
