Mercury Marine is partnering with Revolt Custom Boats to provide Mercury Racing 400R Verado outboard engines for the Netherlands-based company’s custom rigid inflatable boats. The news was announced in a press release from the Fond du Lac, Wis., marine engine and accessories manufacturer.
The 31X is Revolt’s first offering with twin Verado 400R outboards. The company has been building RIB models for 20 years, according to the release, and is a “world leader” in the marketplace.
The first Revolt RIB powered by twin Mercury Racing 400R outboard engines is the 31X model.
“It’s what we like to call the relentless pursuit of perfection,” said John Biesheuvel, the founder of Revolt, in the release. “Each new Revolt is an innovation as we constantly strive to redefine the vision of perfection and make every Revolt better than the last in terms of craftsmanship and technology. This partnership with Mercury Marine is the next step in providing our customers a boat and engine package that will set us apart from the competition.”
Added Hans Roelants, the director Mercury Marine, Benelux, in the release, “We are extremely proud to be a part of this exclusive project. Mercury Marine’s high-class Verado engines are a perfect match for the high-performance products build by Revolt. The first boats with twin 400R Verado outboards are being used by happy customers and more projects are in the pipeline.”
