Set for December 3-5, the 21st annual Toys Tour, an annual weekend powerboat rally in Palatka, Fla., where participants bring thousands of gifts for children in need, is seeking corporate sponsorships for this year’s event. The news was announced in a press release yesterday from Toys Tour, Inc., the official entity behind the event. In August 2021, Toys Tour, Inc., received its nonprofit 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt charity status from the Internal Revenue Service.

“Last year, the pandemic did not stop us—it motivated us as 250 passionate boaters participated from all over the country, collecting a record number of toys, helping more families and kids than ever before,” wrote Walt Braithwaite, the president of Toys Tour, Inc., and the vice president of Velocity Powerboats in Sanford, Fla., in a letter to prospective backers of the event. “This year’s event is expected to double in size, and we were hoping that you could help us reach that goal.”
