Torrente Ready to Represent the Red, White & Blue

Shaun Torrente will try to stay atop the F1 H2O standings with his new team at this weekend’s Grand Prix of France.

Considering that a couple of months ago American driver Shaun Torrente was trying to put the pieces back together after the Qatar Team was disbanded and he was left without a ride just a few weeks after winning the Union Internationale Motonautique F1 H2O World Championship season opener, things are looking up for the Florida native who is currently in Evian, France preparing for this weekend’s F1 H2O Grand Prix of France.

Rest assured, Torrente’s focus remains with F1 and getting the team’s BABA hull ready to compete on Saturday as well as the rest of the year. In an exchange via Facebook, Torrente shared a couple of pictures once the boat arrived in Evian on Wednesday. He was excited to have an American flag next to his name on the side of the boat. And for all of us back home in the States, we are excited for our American hopeful and wish him the best of luck.
