Tomorrow morning, the latest Mystic Powerboats C4400 catamaran—hull No. 3—will be on the road from the company’s facility in DeLand, Fla., to the 12th annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run (July 10-11) in Michigan. Sold to Chicago-based performance-boat enthusiast Vinnie Foglia, the all-carbon-fiber 44-footer is powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 1100 engines and was painted in house at Mystic.
“John (Cosker, the owner and founder of Mystic) tested it last week and it ran great,” said Scott Sjogren of Shogren Performance Marine in Gurnee, Ill., Mystic’s global dealer. “He ran it again over the weekend with his family, and it ran perfectly again. It’s ready to go.
“The boat leaves Wednesday for Boyne Thunder and will there in time for the industry party,” he added. “Vinnie will take delivery of the boat after the event.”

The C4400 cat is Foglia’s second Mystic model purchased this year. He took delivery of his new M3900 luxury performance center console last month during the Four Horsemen Poker Run in Wisconsin.
