Nor-Tech‘s new 5200 Roadster with twin Mercury Racing 1350 engines will be participating in the Tampa Bay Poker Run this weekend.
Between the Miami International Boat Show in February and last month’s Palm Beach International Boat Show, the last few months have been extremely busy at Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats. And with this week’s Tampa Bay Poker Run (April 10-13) and the upcoming Suncoast Boat Show in Sarasota (April 25-27), things don’t appear to be slowing down for the Cape Coral, Fla., builder any time soon.
But you won’t hear anyone at Nor-Tech complain. In fact it’s quite the opposite. After the company’s stunning 390 Open Sport center console with a trio of Seven Marine 557 engines attracted tons of eyeballs in Miami, the boat went back to Cape Coral for some finishing touches and was tested a day before it left for the Palm Beach show. The gunmetal-gray 39-footer received—deservedly so—tons of attention during the show (including my own story on speedonthewater.com) thanks to the hefty engine package and three custom-built motorcycles from Orange County Choppers alongside it.
