The Boardwalk At Waves And Wheels Open House Set For Shootout Week

Along with being a sponsor of the Shootout on the Strip street festival held on the Wednesday before the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout (Aug. 18-26), the team behind Bluave Marine Audio and Waves and Wheels is all set to showcase the new Boardwalk at Waves and Wheels located at mile marker 26 with an open house on Friday (Aug. 24) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Everyone here is pumped about the new facility, and we can’t wait to show it off during the Shootout,” said Justin Wagner, the owner of Waves and Wheels who founded his own line of marine audio equipment, Bluave Marine Audio, in late 2016 and purchased the lakefront marina and storage property in October 2017. “We’re hoping that the open house gives people the chance to stop by and see what we’ve got going on. This really is a cool place—it’s come a pretty long way in less than a year.”

Wagner, who said lunch from Half Sauced BBQ is going to be provided during the open house, is beyond ready to let everyone come tour the facility, which includes a new Waves and Wheels showroom, storage racks, dock and slips, as well as facilities for audio installations, upholstery projects, service and more.

He added that Waves and Wheels is going to have dozens of custom projects on hand for the open house and that many of those same boats are going to be featured in the Waves and Wheels area of the Shootout On the Strip on Wednesday evening along Bagnell Dam Boulevard.

Wagner also noted that while he has a lot to get done between now and then, he’ll be equally as busy focusing on the rollout of his new Bluave Marine Audio amplifiers. Look for a story on the new products next week on speedonthewater.com.
