That’s Great News Gives Back – Here’s How Speedonthewater.com Readers Can Help

If you or your boat have ever been featured in a speedonthewater.com article—either on the site or in the digital magazine or Year In Review print edition—now’s your chance to get a plaque recognizing that moment in time and contribute to a great cause at the same time.

That’s Great News has been handling Speedonthewater.com reprints for more than a year and delivered several plaques to satisfied customers, such as Casey and Tegan Moore, who organize the Texoma Throw Down in Kingston, Okla., and Michigan’s Ed Tirakian, who owns the Tilt Skater (below).

In a letter to its clients on Tuesday, Kelly Nolan, customer care manager of That’s Great News, stated, “We are one year into the COVID Pandemic and slowly easing into a new normal. In order to recognize the hardships we have all endured, we would like to offer a charitable discount.”

The Wallingford, Conn.-based company decided that anyone who places an order by the end of today (March 26) will receive $25 off the plaque order. And for every order placed with this promotion, That’s Great News will be donating $20 to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI).

Use code TOGETHER online to get $25 off any order over $129. Each time the promotion is used, That’s Great News is going to donate $20 to NAMI. You can also email [email protected] for further details.

“Focus on Mental Health has never felt more needed than now,” Nolan said. “This offer is available for a repeat order of a previous plaque or a new article. This is a great opportunity to preserve your great news and allow us to pay it forward.”
