It’s easy to believe Bob Teague—the owner and founder of Teague Custom Marine in Valencia, Calif.—when he says, “I wouldn’t put my name on it, if I wouldn’t use it.” Of course that’s probably true for anything the world champion offshore racer uses, but in this instance he’s talking about the all-new Teague Shine detailing spray from Bio-Kleen, which features his signature right on the label.

Introduced about a month ago, the “Bob Teague-approved” polymer polish spray wax, which is formulated to remove hard water spots, smudges, fingerprints, dust and light build-up, as well as offer UV surface protection at the same time, is now available exclusively at Teague Custom Marine or on the company’s website.
This isn’t the first private label cleaner Bio-Kleen has introduced, but Tim Kowalski, the owner, president and chemist behind the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based company that’s been creating biodegradable cleaning products since 1987, said he hasn’t had much success with them in the past. He believes Teague Shine, which he described as the new-and-improved Qwik Shine spray wax (one of Bio-Kleen’s best sellers), could buck the trend.
