Sunsation Launches First ‘Dealer Cost’ Sale

Working with three of its top dealers, Sunsation Boats in Clay, Mich., kicked off its first “Dealer Cost” Sale today. According to a press release from the sportboat and center console builder, three dealers are participating in the program for the following three new models:

• 288 Mid-Cabin Open Bow Poker Run Edition at Unriehl Sunsation in Chesterfield, Mich.

• 36 SSR Poker Run Edition with windshield option at Captain’s Choice Boats in Destin, Fla.

• 36 Poker Run Edition with custom faring at Performance Boat Center in Osage Beach, Mo.

Prices range from $130,000 to $330,000. Prospective buyers can contact the respective Sunsation dealers for specific pricing. The sale ends when the boats are sold, according to Joe Schaldebrand, the one of the owners of the company.

“We hate for any boat to have ‘a birthday’ and these three are coming up on that, so we created a campaign to help our dealers move them and they agreed,” said Schaldenbrand. “We put a lot of thought into the timing, which is why the sale needed to start after the holidays but before the Miami Boat Show.

“We are still building our sportboats, but frankly we are so busy with orders for new center consoles that we have to keep inventory moving,” he added.
