Sunsation is builiding 32- and 34-foot center consoles for Atlantic Boats, its newest dealer.
Atlantic Boats of Wareham, Mass., has added the Sunsation Powerboats line of custom high-performance center consoles—dubbed the CCX “Center Console Xtreme” series—to its inventory of recreational pleasure and fishing powerboats. The news was announced in a press release from the Algonac, Mich., boat company owned by brothers Wayne and Joe Schaldenbrand and their partner, Jared Morris.
According to the release, Atlantic Boats is a full-service marine center and factory authorized dealer for Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda and Volvo-Penta engines.
“We’re excited about our new relationship with John and his team at Atlantic Boats,” said Joe Schaldenbrand in the release. “We are currently building both a 32 CCX and 34 CCX for them and plan delivery of the first boat before the end of the year. They are an ultra-modern facility with an outstanding following of satisfied customers. We look forward to being an integral part of Atlantic Boats.”
According to the release Atlantic Boats plans to exhibit the 2017 model-year 32-footer at the New England Boat Show in February. The new 34-footer will be finished in time for the dealership’s Demo Days event in May.
“We are centrally located to the Cape Cod Canal, Martha’s Vineyard and Boston,” said John Cornish, the owner of Atlantic Boats, in the release. “We’ve recognized that a specific share of our customers were looking for a flexible use mid-sized center console; a boat that would allow them to easily cruise the area’s bays and inland waterways, as well as safely handle our offshore waters.
“Sunsation’s line of Center Console Extremes is the perfect boat for these customers,” he continued. “You have a superior built boat for fishing excursions and, at the same time, with its luxury appointments, a boat that you can drive to dinner at one of the hundreds of waterside restaurants found throughout the region.”
