Showcased in the July/August 2018 issue of Speed On the Water digital magazine, this Skater Powerboats 388 catamaran is powered by Mercury Racing 1100 engines with No. 6 drives and 10 operating hours. According to own Ron Szolack, the 38-footer tops out in the 160-mph range.

But the most compelling feature of the catamaran is its eight-seat cockpit. Per the Speed On The Water digital magazine feature, the cat’s eight-seat cockpit configuration is a first for the Douglas, Mich.-based company and the boat is the one of widest 368 models ever built. The cat is 13 inches wider than a “standard” 388.

Price is $899,000. A tilt trailer is included.
