Interviews with Speedonthewater.com founder/co-publisher Matt Trulio, multi-time offshore racing champion John Tomlinson of TNT Custom Marine, Marc Granet of Miss GEICO racing and others will be featured in the Clear Channel AM radio WKWF Sports Radio 1600 continuous broadcast during the Super Boat International Key West Offshore World Championships this week. The first race of the week kicks of tomorrow at 10 a.m. (EST).

Trulio’s interview with radio host Todd Swofford, a longtime follower of offshore powerboat racing, is scheduled to be broadcast tomorrow at approximately 11 a.m. between the 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. races.

“Todd called me out of the blue to tell me he was a big fan off speedonthewater and asked me if I’d be interested in doing an interview for the broadcast during the Worlds,” said Trulio. “He didn’t have to ask twice, that’s for sure.

“We talked about a variety of subjects, but the one he focused on most was the technical changes (Read the story) in the Superboat class,” he continued. “I was impressed. It’s obvious he follows the sport closely. He also said he is interested in making this into a monthly feature for the Sports Talk Show he works with that plays in the Key West market and online on the Clear Channel IHeart radio network.”
