As it did for the 2015 Super Boat International season-opener in Cocoa Beach, Fla., speedonthewater.com will carry the livestream online feed from the second SBI race of the year on July 5 in Marathon, Fla. The site, which provides daily news from the high-performance powerboat world including offshore racing coverage, a weekly newsletter and a bi-monthly digital magazine, will be one of three media outlets carrying the livestream. A NASCAR-owned trademark, Fanschoice.TV also will carry Sunday’s action live online, as will the SBI site.

More than 5,000 people watched the Cocoa Beach race via the livestream on speedonthewater.com on May 17. (With the exception of the occasional misplaced pelican and publicity seeking fans, the livestream coverage from the Cocoa Beach race off without a hitch. Within two hours of the event’s completion, the site went live with a wrap-up story on the race.
Next Sunday’s livestream from the Marathon race will begin at approximately 11 a.m. EST across all of the platforms.
