The last time offshore racing fans saw the Super Stock-class Team Allen Lawncare and Landscaping raceboat in action, it was back-flipping in formation next to Super Stock-class rival LPC on the first day of the 2019 Race World Offshore Key West Championship in early November. A big-time attention-getter, the synchronized kiting of two canopied 32-foot Doug Wright catamarans left no one in either cockpit seriously injured. It did, however, translate to significant repair work in the office season.

Now Team Allen has unveiled its repaired 32-footer with livery that includes its 2020-season sponsors.
According to a press release from the Des Moines, Iowa-based team that calls the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri its home-water, the boat was rebuilt at Doug Wright Designs in Melbourne, Fla., as well as its shop in Iowa. Boaters on the water last weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks during Memorial got an early look at the boat’s new graphics package
“The entire team did an enormous amount of work to be ready for the Super Stock season,” said Bill Allen, the owner and throttleman of the Team Allen Lawncare and Landscaping team. “We are ready to race, whether it’s this year or 2021.”
The last time most offshore racing fans saw Team Allen Lawncare and Landscaping, the 32-footer was flying upside down above the waters of Key West Harbor.
