Progress on Skater Powerboats‘ largest V-bottom offering to date continues at the Douglas, Mich., facility. Earlier this week, most of the in-house paintwork on the 47-footer was completed. All that remains is for the V-bottom to receive its clear coat before it’s transported to North Carolina for its interior installation by veteran powerboat interior designers Gary Bridges and Paul Gallup.

“Thomas Kulesia (of No Coast Design) designed the graphics, and they came out beautifully thanks to him and painter Jake Schulte,” said Tony Cutsuries, Skater’s national sales manager. “He’s so talented, as is our painter.
“Gary and Paul have some amazing things in store for the interior,” he added. “We’re looking forward to seeing the finished product and getting the 478 back in Douglas for rigging.”
