Sneak Peek: Fishing For Compliments with Latest Mystic M4200

No one will ever confuse a Mystic Powerboats M4200 luxury center console with a hardcore fishing machine. The appointments and amenities are too plush and not every inch of the 42-footer isn’t dedicated to the relentless pursuit of trophy-winning pelagic species. It’s safe to say that no Mystic center console will ever be the boat of choice for, let’s say, a kingfish tournament.

But that doesn’t mean the M4200 isn’t “fishable,” especially with the DeLand, Fla., builder’s new-for-2017 fishing package (read the story). Scott Sjogren of Mystic Powerboat Sales delivered the first vessel equipped with the new outfitting option on Thursday this week to its owner, and speedonthewater.com chief photographer Pete Boden was there to capture the moment. As expected, Boden brought back some beautiful images.

Visitors to the 2017 Miami International Boat Show in February will get a chance to see the new Mystic 4200 RF (Recreational Fish) on the water firsthand. But for those who can’t make it to Miami, here’s a sneak peek—courtesy of Boden, Sjogren and Mystic principal John Cosker—at the finished product.
