Judging from a recent photo shoot in Miami orchestrated by Blackwater Boats and Endless Imagery Photography there is going to be some happy customers very soon. The Opa-locka, Fla., boat builder set up the photo and video session before it was time to deliver three of the four sport-fishing models that are all powered by a trio of outboards.According to Monique Hausheer of Boats Direct USA, the factory outlet arm of Blackwater Boats and Deep Impact Custom Boats, the blue 36-foot Sport model, which is powered by Mercury Verado 350 engines, was built as a stock boat for Boats Direct USA and will be on display at the 56th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in early November.
Also powered by Mercury Verado 350s, the red 36’ Sport is being delivered to a customer in Sarasota while the white 36’ Tournament Edition that is powered by Mercury Verado 300s is headed to a customer in Tampa. The final one in this grouping—the aqua 36’ Sportfish with 300-hp Yamaha engines—is a brand new model headed to Bermuda.
“We had the opportunity to sea trial these beautiful boats before delivery, which is a rare occasion to have four models done at the same time, so we took advantage of that and captured amazing photography and video,” Hausheer said. “It’s also wonderful because we can give each customer some nice aerial shots and interior shots of their boats.”

As for the Fort Lauderdale show, Boats Direct USA will have two 36’ Blackwaters (one Sport and one Sportfish), a pair of 36’ Deep Impact models—one open and one cabin—and a 39’ Cabin from Deep Impact on display at the event.
