Organizers of Shore Dreams For Kids, an annual day of powerboat rides, food and carnival ride fun for mentally and physically challenged children, adults and their families, are looking for volunteers in several capacities. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Seaside Heights, N.J.
According to a press release from the New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club, the organizers are looking for “land volunteers” who can work the docks assisting participants accessing and exiting the boats or on “the field” where the food and rides are setup. Morning and afternoon schedules are still available.
