Set for Saturday, July 14, Shore Dreams For Kids—an annual day of powerboat rides, food and carnival fun for physically and mentally challenged children and their families in Seaside Heights, N.J., still needs sponsors for the 16th annual event. According to longtime Shore Dreams For Kids supporter and former board member Dave Patnaude, Diamond to Sterling Silver Club sponsorship opportunities from $5,000 to $500 are available. “Player’s Club” donations in any amount also are welcome.

“The success of this event is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to the event,” wrote Patnaude, the president of the New Jersey Powerboat Club, in a press release from the club. “The money we raise each year goes to funding this year’s annual event.
“We have several levels of sponsorship packages,” he continued. “You can select the level of participation that best meets your needs and be secure in the knowledge that your sponsorship fee will be used 100 percent to help us fund this year’s annual event.”

“The event would cease to exist without the help of a wide variety of companies and individuals who donate to this one-day event,” Patnaude wrote. “The reward of seeing the smiles and children’s eyes light up from all that is shared with them is truly immeasurable.
