At a time when many high-performance boat dealerships are still reeling, it’s nice to see one—especially a progressive one—get a little recognition. Based in Waukegan, Illinois, Shogren Performance Marine has earned a Mercury Marine Customer Satisfaction Index Award.

The award is based on a survey of Shogren’s customers who had warranty work done during 2009. In the survey, customers rated their satisfaction with the dealership’s service. To earn the award, dealers must maintain a score of no less than 90 out of 100 in the three categories for a 12-month period.

“We are extremely proud of this recognition because it comes from our customers,” said Scott Shogren, the owner and founder of Shogren Performance Marine, in a press release from the company.

Shogren Performance Marine is one of 91 out of 3,600 Mercury Marine dealers in the United States and Canada recognized with the Service CSI ranking.

Earlier this year, Shogren Performance Marine established Shogren Certified Sales, a complete brokerage/consignment service, and usedoffshoreboats.com and extensive online listing service for pre-owned high-performance boats.
