What do chainsaw competitions and offshore powerboat racing have in common? They’re both competitive sports backed by power-tool giant STIHL—and they’re both included in an upcoming two-hour “Extreme Power Block” NBC Sports television on March 19 teased by a new 36-second video from producer JM Associates.
The short video presents a fast-moving, compelling blend of chain saw competition and offshore racing action. It begins the voiceover: “Chainsaws. Propellers. Razor-sharp axes. And raw horsepower. The STIHL Timber Sports Series, followed by the Super Boat World Championships presented by STIHL .Two full hours of adrenaline-pumping competition.”
