The second DCB M29 ordered by Sjogren is ready for its planned delivery early next year.

Heading to a customer in the Midwest, the second DCB Performance Boats M29 catamaran ordered by factory sales representative Scott Sjogren and powered by twin Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboard engines was finished earlier the week. The buyer will take delivery of new cat in early 2017.

Sjogren, who also handles all Mystic Powerboats sales, said he has sold two more outboard-powered M29s and the next one will begin production soon. That brings the current total to four sold boats since he took on sales of the power-specific 29-footer in May for the Lake of the Ozarks area in Central Missouri, as well as all states east of that territory.

“My hat is off to Jeff, Tony and the entire crew at DCB for once again doing a tremendous job with another M29,” said Sjogren. “We have another being built right behind this one, and then another one coming after that. Four boats in less than a year—we really happy with that progress and thrilled with work DCB is doing. Their attention to detail is second to none.

“It’s great opportunity for both DCB and us,” he added. “We’re excited to see these boats selling in new markets.”

Sjogren took delivery of his first 29-footer, which he ordered as a demo boat, during the Monster Bash on Lake Havasu in Arizona last month. DCB Performance Boats is based in El Cajon, Calif.
