Powerboat racing fans who can’t catch the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix action from western Florida’s famed Lido Beach this weekend will be able to watch it online via a free USTREAM Livestream broadcast. Powerboat P1, which sanctions the SuperStock single-engine V-bottom and AquaX classes, is sponsoring the two-day Internet broadcast.

The racing action begins Saturday with AquaX personal watercraft races at 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. (EST). They will be followed by the first SuperStock- class race at 10:45 a.m.—the SuperStock class will race four times on Saturday. AquaX competition will conclude Sunday with races at 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. The final SuperStock-class race is scheduled to start at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.
Sunday’s offshore powerboat racing begins at 11 a.m. with Cat Light, Super Vee Lite and P1-311. The Super Cat, Super Vee, Extreme and Extreme Unlimited classes are scheduled to start at 12:15 p.m. The Sarasota Grand Prix Invitational P4-7 class is scheduled to go green at 2 p.m.
