In addition to the 50 P1 Aquax USA personal watercraft racers and eight to ten P1 Superstock USA V-bottoms, more than 20 offshore racing teams have registered so far for the upcoming Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival June 27-July 4, and the organizers anticipate more teams will sign up before the event begins. As expected, a strong contingent of offshore racers local to the Sarasota/Bradenton, Fla., area is participating.
