A one-hour television program covering the recent Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix will air this Wednesday, July 15, at 7 p.m. (EST) on CBS Sports, according to Lucy Nicandri, the executive director of Suncoast Charities for Children in Sarasota, Fla. The program will showcase the powerboat racing during the weeklong event, as well as other happenings during the festival. An encore presentation of the program will air later that evening at 11 p.m.

The event’s final day of racing on July 5 attracted 27 offshore race boats. It followed a full day of personal watercraft and single-outboard-engine V-bottom competition.

Nicandri also released the dates for next year’s Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival. The 2016 event will run June 25-July 4, with races slated for July 2 and 3.
