The New Jersey Performance Powerboat Club opened registration for its annual Powerboat Rally to Atlantic City this morning. Open to vessels of all types and sizes, the event is scheduled for June 16-17.

While an Offshore Powerboat Association race will not be held in Atlantic City this year during the Powerboat Rally weekend, the event still will include powerboat rides—from participants willing to provide them—on Saturday for wounded veterans and their families through the Combat Wounded Veterans of America organization. A reception party for the veterans and powerboat owners will follow that evening.
The rally starts in Toms River and finishes at the Atlantic City Golden Nugget Resort and Casino, which has been the host venue for the event for several years. NJPPC’s famed “dock party” will begin as boats arrive at the docks and will lead into the club’s “Barbecue Under The Stars” that evening.
The entry fee is $499. It includes a pair of event T-shirts, two poker run hands, two buffet breakfasts and one buffet dinner and a Saturday evening cocktail party.
