For the next five days—May 11-15—Pier 57 Marine will offer a 25-percent discount on all of the already deeply discounted parts in its online pre-owned parts store. From complete engines, drives, props, gauge packages, etc, everything in the virtual Pier 57 Marine Parts Sale store will be discounted until the sale ends Friday evening, according to Scott Sjogren, the owner of the Gurnee, Ill., company.

“As you might imagine, after more than 12 years selling and servicing new and used powerboats we’ve accumulated a few thousand parts,” Sjogren said. “Some of them are new or have low hours on them, but we call them pre-owned because they came off existing boats. But all of the parts are in good shape. We’ve kept nothing that wasn’t in good condition.

“As a former Fountain dealer, we have a wide array of Fountain parts,” he added. “Those can be pretty hard to find. We also have a huge collection of propellers, more than 50K worth. You really need to take a look at the site to see the extent of what we have.”

Pier 57 launched its online parts store a month-and-a-half ago. Consumers can view parts, order and check out online. Interested buyers need to use the code “25” for their purchases.

“We had to take photos of every part, and some of them still aren’t there— but we were able to get roughly 70 percent of them listed for this sale. That took a couple months, delaying the online store opening,” Sjogren said. “If you don’t find what you like, just give us a call and ask for Alan Gordon, our parts manager.”
