Given that bow thrusters and other useful features that take the hassle out of operation are pretty standard equipment in most upscale performance-oriented center consoles these, it was only a matter of time before buyers started to looking to add comfort-enhancing stabilizing systems. Most high-end center consoles spend as much or more time simply sitting still in the water as they do running, so adding such systems makes sense.

For enhanced passenger comfort, the owner ordered this new Mystic M4200 center console with a Seakeeper anti-roll system.

To that end, today Mystic Powerboats delivered its first M4200 luxury center console equipped with Seakeeper, a compact gyroscopic system that “virtually eliminates boat roll on vessels 30 feet and up,” according to the company’s website.

“The customer loves it,” said Scott Sjogren of Mystic Sales, who was joined by colleague Greg Weber in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., for the delivery. “It’s an incredible system.”

Powered by triple Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboard engines, the 42-footer also is equipped with Mercury’s latest-generation Joystick control setup, as well as air-conditioning for the boat’s cabin and an upgraded stereo system. Doug Harrell Designs handled the center console’s elegant paintjob.
