When it comes to a speedonthewater.com photographer-to-powerboat ratio, events don’t get much better than last weekend’s Jacksonville River Rally Fun Run. Frequent contributing shooters Pete Boden and Yvonne Aleman were on hand to capture the 24-boat event from the water. In short, we ended up with an abundance of photographic riches from last weekend’s Jacksonville happening, which reportedly raised about $4,000 for Camp Amigo, its longstanding charity that provides summer camp experiences for children healing from severe burn injuries.

In typical fashion, Boden came home with a slew of great running shots from both days, particularly those he snagged during Saturday’s 160-plus-mile lunch run on the St. Johns River. Aleman also captured a combination of fine moments from the event, as well as some of the people involved as they enjoyed the weekend’s activities together. Many of her photographs from Saturday are displayed here publicly for the first time.

Look for more images from Aleman and Boden in the upcoming May/June issue of Speed On The Water digital magazine, as well as the 2016 Year In Review print issue.
