Performance Boat Center Shooting For Wright Performance 360 Sale No. 20 In Fort Lauderdale

Released in August 2017, the first Wright Performance 360 sport catamaran from Performance Boat Center of Osage Beach, Mo., made its official public debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show three months later. Exhibiting in the annual South Florida event produced sales, as it did the following year. And if Performance Boat Center inks another deal during this year’s show, which opened yestereday, that will make 20 Wright Performance 360 models sold in a little more than two years, according to the multi-brand full-service dealership’s Brett Manire.

“We have sold 19 Wright Performance 360s with 15 delivered and four on order,” he said. “We have sold two Wright Performance 420s, three 32-foot open-cockpit Wright Performance pleasure boat and three 32-foot canopied Wright Performance raceboats.

“Performance Boat Center’s Myrick Coil and Rusty Williams recently took the APBA series Super Stock-class championship in a 32-foot Wright Performance catamaran we rigged and finished,” he continued. “We essentially built a brand by combining what we’re good at—rigging, painting, installing interiors and marketing—with what Doug Wright is good at—designing building amazing catamarans with CNC-created tooling. It’s been an awesome collaboration. We’ve come a long way in two years and for the most part we’ve been able to keep up with our delivery dates, which is big.”

The latest Wright Performance 420 is on display in Fort Lauderdale this week.

Manire described the Wright Performance 360 as “right there with the big guys like MTI and DCB” in terms of performance, fit and finish and build quality. That Performance Boat Center also sells the MTI line, including the Wenztville, Mo., high-performance boat-builder’s popular 340X sport catamaran is a value-add, he said.

“We let our customers choose,” he said. “We offer two great choices in that size range.”
