Being a distributor for the Princess Yachts line is beginning to pay off for Performance Boat Center, the well-known multi-powerboat dealership and complete service center located in Osage Beach, Mo., according to the company’s Brett Manire. Earlier this week, the company closed the sale on a V62 model. Next week, they’ll close on a V39. Earlier this year, the Lake of the Ozarks area dealership sold a V52.

The second Princess model to be sold by Performance Boat Center, this V62 motoryacht will be based in Naples, Fla.

“We are starting to figure out the strategy for selling them,” said Manire. “For one sale, we took in a Sunsation center console, a DCB F32 catamaran and an Audi A8 on trade.”

Manire said that Performance Boat Center will be ordering another Princess Yachts model in the near future for inventory.

“We just haven’t decided which one that will be yet,” he said.

Only one of the three Princess models—the V39—sold by Performance Boat Center will remain at the lake. The 52-footer has already been transported to its home in Gulf Shores, Ala. The V62 is headed for Naples, Fla.

There are three models in the Princess V Class ranging from 72 to 39 feet. All Princess yachts are manufactured in the United Kingdom.
