With its acquisition of Doller Offshore Marine in late March, Performance Boat Center established an instant beach head in South Florida. That was something Brett Manire and Mark Waddington, the owners of the Osage Beach, Mo., Cigarette Racing Team, Sunsation Boats and Wright Performance full-service dealership, had been after for some time.

Acquired a little more than two months ago, Performance Boat Center’s latest addition is already in growth mode.

In short, Performance Boat Center of South Florida was born.

But in purchasing Hollywood, Fla.-based Doller, Manire and Waddington acquired more than the company’s physical assets, which include its 15,000-square-foot headquarters. They retained the services of Mindi Doller and Martin Sanborn, a pair of respected marine industry veterans.
