Based on the weather around most of the country so far this year, I’m guessing we’re eventually going to come out of winter and—having completely skipped spring—head straight into summer. That’s a shame because spring, on and off the water, can be awfully nice. But with the Memorial Day weekend starting tomorrow and crappy weather still hanging around so many places, I can’t see it happening any other way.

That’s the bad news. The good news?
June is just a week away and it will kick off the 2019 summer go-fast boating season in style. And while there aren’t any all-new happenings I’m aware of in June, there’s an excellent mix of established events happening throughout the month. Here’s a quick look at five of them.
