Timed with his kids’ spring break, longtime Sunsation Boats customer Bill Harrison took delivery of his new 29 CCX with twin 150-hp Mercury outboard engines, the first of two new Sunsation models he ordered recently—his 36 SSR powered by staggered Mercury Racing 540 engines will be finished in time for summer.

According to Mitch Kaplan of Captain’s Choice in Destin, Fla., Harrison was excited to get the 29-footer and take it out for a quick spin.
“Bill was here yesterday to pick up the boat,” Kaplan said earlier today. “He is such a pleasurable customer to do business with. I think he’s really going to have a good time with the new center console—all of his friends and family are.”

Both boats feature identical graphics—a bold red design painted by Mitcher T Custom Painting & Design, the Middleville, Mich., shop that handled Harrison’s previous Sunsations, which include a 32-footer and two 43-footers.
“We hustled to get Bill his boat in time for spring break and can’t wait to hear how it goes this week,” said Sunsation’s Joe Schaldenbrand. “We have no doubt he’s going to be impressed. Next up is the 36,. It’s going to be so cool to see the two boats together on the water.”
