Continuing to expands its center console line that includes 34- and 39-footers, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance is about a month away from completing its first new 28-foot center console. That’s according to Terry Sobo, the director of sales and marketing for the Cape Coral, Fla., company.

Based on the 34-foot Nor-Tech center console shown here, the first 28-footer is about one month away from completion.

“The hull is sitting on the production floor right now,” said Sobo. “The deck should be coming along right behind it.”

Sobo said he expects the boat to be completed by mid- to late-May. The first model will be powered by either twin 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards or a single 370-hp Yanmar diesel engine. The company currently has orders for new models with power packages.
