Though cleanup from Hurricane Irma is far from complete in Fort Myers, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats, which is based there, will resume normal operating hours today. The company sustained no significant damage from the storm but was closed for much of last week while it assessed the situation at its production facilities.

“As planned, we’ll also be present and exhibiting at the Monaco Boat Show at the end of the month,” said Geoff Tomlinson, the company’s dealer manager.
According to Tomlinson, Nor-Tech is busy with orders, particularly for its popular 39-footer, and the company is hiring.
“We need more space and we need more riggers,” he said. “We’re definitely in need of skilled riggers.”
