Kicking off at the end of this month, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show plays an important role for Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boat, especially when it comes to new-model debuts. Last year, the Cape Coral, Fla., company unveiled the quad-out-board-engine-powered 4000 Roadster catamaran at the event. In 2021, Nor-Tech released the first-open, bow-mid-cabin version of its 460 Flyer at the show.

And that’s just recent history.

This time around, Nor-Tech doesn’t have a new model to showcase in Fort Lauderdale. (A reliable source deep inside the company said something new might be brewing for the Miami International Boat Show, but offered no additional detail.) Yet in the absence of a bright new whiny object, the builder is bringing a full arsenal of popular offerings to the event.

Nor-Tech’s display at the Bahia Mar Marine dock’s will feature 390 Sport, 400 and 450 Sport center consoles, as well as a new 4000 Roadster catamaran. A 452 Super Fish and a 340 Sport will grace the company’s convention center display.

Per tradition, Nor-Tech will host its opening day VIP celebration after the show closes. With or without a new model to show off, the Fort Lauderdale happening remains one of the company’s most important events.

“We’re always excited to see our clients and vendors in Fort Lauderdale—it’s a great event and bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to it,” said Trond Schou, Nor-Tech’s president and co-founder. “Plus, we always enjoy meeting the new clients who come to enjoy the show.”
