Like moths to an eternal flame, Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats owners descended on Key West, Fla., last week en masse. As a group, they are—like all brand-loyalist in the go-fast boating world—ferociously tribal. That doesn’t mean they refuse to spend time with owners of other brands. On the contrary, Nor-Tech owners are among the most gracious and welcoming lot you’ll ever meet.
But generally speaking, where you find one Nor-Tech owner you’ll find a bunch of them.

Among the members of the Nor-Tech tribe in Key West last week were Michiganders Bill and Lori Lemanske, their son, Billy, and his girlfriend, Sarah. And from the Thursday night Speed On The Water Key West Bash at the Pickle’s Pub Sandbar to the Friday night Nor-Tech Owners Appreciation Party at the Grand Cafe, the Lemanskes were there to support the brand and celebrate with their people.
The Lemanskes own a 2017 model-year 390 Sport center console. It is not the newest model to come out of the Cape Coral, Fla., factory. Nor are the Lemanskes the most prolific Nor-Tech owners. But they might just be the most enthusiastic and passionate members of what has become an extended family of loyal customers..
They are foundational members of the Nor-Tech tribe.
