New Speedboat Events Tampa Run Postponed

The teams at the Nautical Network and Good Boy Vodka decided to postpone the upcoming Speedboat Events Tampa that was announced at the end of April. According to Billy Pavlock, the Cleawater, Fla.-based co-founder of Nautical Network, which was planning an “ultra-premium poker run” June 18-20 in Tampa, Fla., behind the event marketing arm of its business, the organizers are working on new dates.

“We are postponing the Tampa event to later in the year and we plan to continue promoting our brand and other news while we collaborate with other smaller poker runs in the meantime,” Pavlock said. “We wanted to make this an unforgettable experience for the participants and sponsors, and due to timing and other factors beyond our control, we didn’t think it was fair to have the event as planned.”

“We still plan on doing something big with the Speedboat Events brand—we just want to have all of our ducks in a row to make sure it’s really unique and valuable to everyone involved,” he continued. “Our goal is to make sure we do this right the first time around because we understand this will reflect our future events.”

Anyone who had already signed up to participate in or sponsor the run is being reimbursed. Any questions can be sent to Pavlock and his team online and you also can sign up for event updates at www.speedboatevents.com.
