Visitors to South Florida’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, which opens today at noon and runs through Nov. 5, will get a look at a couple of "refreshed" Fountain performance center consoles, according to a press release from Iconic Marine Group, the Washington, N.C.-based parent company of the Fountain, Baja and Donzi powerboat brands. The company will have a new 34-foot center console and a new 38-foot center console at the docks (Red Zone CD—slips 539-541) all week at the Bahia Mar Marina.

The 38CC is one of two Fountain center consoles being displayed at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this week.

While the high-performance hulls for the 34- and 38-footer have not been modified, new deck features have been added, according to the release. The 34CC boasts an all-new interior with a redesigned T-Top and helm seat/tackle center, as well as a new bow-seating configuration. Also with new T-Top, the 38CC boasts similar interior enhancements as well as an optional aft seating setup.

“We’ve been working really hard with the best designers in the industry to bring a fresh look to tie in the legendary DNA of the Fountain brand,” stated Joe Curran, the chief operating officer for Iconic Marine Group, in the release. “These boats are known to go fast, go efficiently and go safely—we’ve been very diligent to maintain that component of our DNA while adding today’s design and technologies into every step of the redesign process.”

Like the Fountain 38CC, the 34-footer features a new T-Top and other refreshed amenities.

In addition to working on current model revisions and new model concepts for Fountain, Reggie Fountain, Jr.—the founder of Fountain Powerboats now working with Iconic Marine Group to revitalize the brand he made famous—will be on hand during the show to meet with visitors and discuss future changes and additions to the Fountain line-up.

“It’s been exciting to have Reggie back in the mix,” said Curran. “His wealth of knowledge for the Fountain brand is endless and the expertise he adds to the engineering team has helped us get the brand back into the market.”
