Mystic Powerboats should start delivering its M3800 luxury center consoles in June.
John Cosker and the crew at Mystic Powerboats in DeLand, Fla., have made solid progress on the new M3800, the 38-foot-long sister-ship to the M4200 luxury center console. The Mystic team recently completed the hull mold for the 38-footer, and work on the deck and hardtop tooling for the boat is well underway.
According to Scott Sjogren of Mystic Powerboat Sales, the first three M3800s are already sold.

“We are going to start infusing the first one right after the New Year—Mystic is closing for the last week of December,” he said. “It has the same infused, carbon-reinforced foam-cored lamination as the M4200 but it looks less ‘yachty’ and more sporty. Yet it’s still a big boat. It still has lots of freeboard and a 10’5” beam.
“The deck and hardtop tooling will be done by the end of February and we will start shipping boats in June,” he added. “Very well equipped and powered with triple Mercury Verado 350 outboards, the retail price is $399,000.”
Sjogren also said that Mystic just delivered M4200 hull No. 18 and recently snagged its 29th order for the 42-footer.
“And we have another model coming in addition to the M3800,” he said. “Greg Weber and I encouraging customers to get their orders in as soon as possible.”
