MITO Corporation in Elkhart, Ind., announced today that it has formed a new partnership with Waves and Wheels in Osage Beach, Mo. According to the press release, the exclusive agreement is going to deliver high-end, customized Waves and Wheels audio systems to the marine OEM market through MITO Corporation’s sales channels.

“We’ve been doing business with Waves and Wheels for several years,” said Rod Hire, product manager at MITO Corporation. “With our first-hand knowledge of their extraordinarily innovative work, commitment to quality and brand awareness they’ve already created in the OEM market, we are confident that this is going to be a successful long-term partnership.”

The Waves and Wheels Solution products feature high-end Focal speakers and amplifiers (click image to enlarge).Along with custom audio and interior installations completed at its facility near Lake of the Ozarks, Waves and Wheels manufactures custom marine audio solutions featuring Focal speakers and amplifiers that are sold as aftermarket products and directly to OEM clients in the powerboat market.

MITO Corporation’s expertise in OEM sales, tech services, JIT delivery and its well-established distribution channels are expected to bring these custom solutions directly to high-end yacht, sport cruiser and other boat manufacturers across the country.

MITO Corporation and Waves and Wheels expect to ship their first products to the OEM market in the next 30 days. Together, they are planning to launch 20 new custom Waves and Wheels products at IBEX, the International Boat Builders Exhibition and Conference in Tampa, Fla., in October.
