With an open invitation to MidwestBoatParty.com members and all boaters in and around Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks, the excitement is building for the MWBP 2016 Winter Party, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 5, at Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozarks.

Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozarks, Mo., is the site of this year’s MidwestBoatParty.com Winter Party.

The organization’s 13th annual dry dock party starts at 6:30 p.m. and features food, drinks and a DJ. Tickets for the party are available here—the cost is $20 per person. MWBP group rates are available by calling Camden on the Lake (ID: MWBP0316).

“Our Winter Party is pretty much an excuse for us to get together and share our love for powerboats and this wonderful lake with fellow boaters,” said Ed Champion of MPWB and Lake Ozarks Marine in Osage Beach. “It’s a good opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Champion added that the organizers also have put together a car poker run earlier in the day that includes stops at Go Fast Betty’s, Performance Boat Center, Precision Paint Worx, Tucker’s Shuckers and Beavers At The Dam.

He said the poker run hands are $20 each with the winnings split 50/50, and that hands can be picked up Friday night or Saturday morning at Lake Ozarks Marine. The LOM crew is hosting an open house on Friday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Roger Leas from D&B Docks in Climax Springs will be providing some of his delicious BBQ as usual.
