While the product of Cigarette Racing Team’s annual collaboration with Mercedes-AMG tends to take center stage for the venerable performance-boat builder during the annual Miami International Boat Show—and with both entities celebrating their tenth anniversary working together this year will be no exception—the Opa-Locka, Fla.-based sportboat and performance center console company does have something new all its own coming the event this week. For the 2017 model year, Cigarette has created the 42’ Huntress GTO, a sporty walk-around version of its 42’ Huntress center console.
A day cabin with a power-raised-and-lowered table that converts to a V-berth, a full walk-around in the cockpit and more are key elements of the new Cigarette 42’ Huntress GTO center console. All photos courtesy/copyright Cigarette Racing Team.
Thanks to Cigarette’s Skip Braver, speedonthewater.com will publish four detail photos of the 42-footer, which boasts an all-new day cabin with a power-operated table that converts to a berth as opposed to the full overnight cabin in the original 42’ Huntress, each of the next three days leading up to the unveiling of the new model when the show opens Thursday.
Of course, we’ll have the complete story on the boat on Thursday morning. Until then, enjoy today’s sneak peek at the new-for-2017 Cigarette 42’ Huntress GTO. There’ll be more coming tomorrow.
