Mercury Racing Starting 2017 Experience Tour on West Coast

The first stop of the 2017 Mercury Racing Experience Tour is landing in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., this Friday for the Lake Havasu Boat Show (April 7-9). Highlighted by the Mercury Racing mobile marketing truck, which will remain in Lake Havasu City for the Desert Storm Poker Run (May 3-7) before heading off to Michigan for the Boyne Thunder Poker Run (July 7-8), the Mercury display at the boat show is going to packed with the Fond du Lac, Wis., company’s latest and greatest products.

Along with products such as the all-new QC4v 860 sterndrive and Verado 400R Carbon Edition outboard as well the venerable 540 sterndrive and a cut-a-way 1550 sterndrive, Mercury also is going to be showcasing a digital helm with an all-new VesselView 703 monitor, digital Zero Effort controls, Performance Active Trim and Mercury Joy Stick Piloting technology.

mercury0417 coolerAt the same time, Mercury is promoting its Race to Repower program featuring unprecedented deals on Mercury Racing 520, 540 and 565 sterndrive engine packages. Representatives from Mercury are going to provide a review of the new products as well as highlights of the repower program throughout the weekend. The schedule is as follows: Friday at 2 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.

Attendees who take a brief repower survey will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 grand prize—a 30-quart Mercury Racing Pelican cooler with four matching 32-ounce tumblers (at right, click image to enlarge). In addition, a limited quantity of Mercury Racing visors will be handed out at the conclusion of each presentation. The grand prize winner will be announced Wednesday, April 12.
