Mercury Marine is opening several new sales and distribution outlets in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Located in key markets throughout the region according to a press release from the Fond du Lac, Wis., marine engine and accessories company, the new stores will be exclusive Mercury Marine and Land ‘N’ Sea productsstores.

“Offering these types of facilities and services to our customers is a testament to the strong partnership we have developed with our dealer network in the region,” said Joaquin Soto, Mercury Marine’s director of sales and service in the area, in the release “Our goal is to become more diversified to serve key markets in this region and these stores will allow Mercury to grow its presence in the Caribbean, Mexico & Central America.”
Some of the new stores have already opened. Others will open later in 2017. According to the release, the expanded network allows Mercury to expand in Mexico, Martinique, Dominican Republic, Guatemala Puerto Rico.
The new stores and their opening/expansion dates include:
Auto Marina, Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, February 2017; Blue, Cancun, Mexico, February 2017; Maximarine SAS (6 different locations), Atlantic Coast, Martinique March 2017; DISMAR, Guatemala City, Guatemala, February 2017; Aquamar, Baja California, Mexico, March 2017; Corinka, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, May 2017; Powerboat Marine LLC, San Juan, Puerto Rico, May 2017; Equipesca de Obregon SA de CV, La Paz, Mexico, December 2016; COMECA, San Jose, Guatemala, December 2016.
