Mercury Marine was the subject of the “Titan American Built” television program hosted by Titan Gilroy (above).
A recent episode of the “Titan American Built” television program showcased Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wis. The show, which will air on MAVTV (time and date to be announced), features students from Eleva-Strum High School in Strum, Wis., touring and learning about what happens inside the marine engine and products manufacturing facility.
The Titan American Built show is hosted by Titan Gilroy, its colorful creator and chief executive officer, who brings his “trademark aggressive style” to the program. The show focuses and promotes United States-based manufacturing.
“We thought Titan and his crew did a fantastic job highlighting the positive aspects of manufacturing at Mercury Marine,” said Chris Drees, Mercury Marine vice president of global manufacturing, in a press release from the company. “Mercury is hiring and we need to continue to promote the positive aspects of a career in manufacturing.”
Said Eleva-Strum High School student Katelyn Vanlandingham in the show, “This experience was such a big learning opportunity for all of us.”
According to the nationally televised program’s website, “Titan American Built (show creator and host) Titan Gilroy have a simple yet profoundly massive vision—restore the United States of America as the undisputed champion of manufacturing … ‘Made In America’ used to mean something. To Titan, it still does. He’s on a mission to put American manufacturing back on top of the world.”
